Shape Shifting
I am always excited when I see a new shape in fashion. A silhouette that is unexpected, a dress that swishes differently than the usual fit ān flare, a top whose cut garners that most satisfying compliment, āI love your top!ā As Iāve gotten older, the shapes Iāve worn and automatically gravitate toward, no longer work for me. Iāve recently gone through my closet and tried on everything in it, purging so many pieces I erroneously assumed still fit. (I highly recommend doing this!) And though I do love a good mumu, it is not so much about covering, but rather, being more comfortable and finding chic shapes that flatter effortlessly while remaining versatile (think packing ease, or something that can be converted by an added belt or layering piece.)
